Obviously when starting off any program it is best to be familiar with the movements / exercises used in that program so learn all the movements used and get as used to the proper exercise form as possible. The next thing is to have a medical examination in order to rule out any complications that may be present and would hinder you in your efforts or prevent you from totally committing to the program. Another, particularly if you are a mom or dad, is to get your head in tune with your heart and know that you are not doing this for yourself, but for your spouse and kids as well, because a healthy spouse/ parent is a benefit and major blessing to the rest of the family.
