Obviously when starting off any program it is best to be familiar with the movements / exercises used in that program so learn all the movements used and get as used to the proper exercise form as possible. The next thing is to have a medical examination in order to rule out any complications that may be present and would hinder you in your efforts or prevent you from totally committing to the program. Another, particularly if you are a mom or dad, is to get your head in tune with your heart and know that you are not doing this for yourself, but for your spouse and kids as well, because a healthy spouse/ parent is a benefit and major blessing to the rest of the family.

Well, as you see from the ‘myth list’, Craig Ballantyne challenges those myths to give you perhaps your best fat loss program ever.

As to what it’s made up of: in a nutshell, real world advice on nutrition that doesn’t break your budget, exercise programs that don’t need you to pump yourselves full of dangerous drugs, and a support system that is hard to compete with. The workouts are simple strength workouts using supersets in order to build as well as maintain strength and muscle, followed by interval workouts on a stationary bike for at the most 3 days a week.

The first thing that people think of when they think about losing weight, is starvation. Check out Yahoo Answers! or some other such site – you’ll find a whole bunch of people just looking to get a running program or something. Another is ‘I gotta start running’! Funny thing is, I remember a guy from my hometown a couple of years ago jogging like he was going to have a fit or something. I would see him every few months, and each time he would look EXACTLY the same! No change at all whatsoever. Sounds like someone you know?

The fact is that there are some exercise myths that are just so prevalent that people seldom realize that fat loss doesn’t have to be something that needs you to be shut up in a dungeon (no matter how glitzy) all month long, but can be achieved by anyone at any provided the following myths are addressed and corrected:

Myth #1 – You Have to Do Cardio in the Morning on an Empty Stomach in order to Burn Fat
Myth #2 – You Have to Do Cardio in the Fat Burning Zone
Myth #3 – You Have to Do Cardio 7 Days Per Week
Myth #4 You Have to Do Cardio for at Least 20 Minutes Before You Start Burning Fat
Myth #5 – You Can’t Lose Fat and Gain Muscle at the Same Time
